Ace started the way most honest businesses do: with a bad purchase. Mandy paid premium money for "raw" bundles that shed out in six weeks, and decided the fix was not a refund. It was a standard.
She spent two years building direct relationships with collectors in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar, learning to read hair the way a jeweler reads stones: cuticle direction under light, weight stretched and verified, wefts tugged by hand. Only then did Ace by Mandy Hair take its first order.
Today the atelier in Bowie, Maryland ships to clients on five continents: brides in Houston, stylists in London, studios in Lagos and Dubai. The rule has never changed. If Mandy would not sew it into her own crown, it does not ship.
